Injustice: Gods Among Us is the UK's new No.1 video game, ending BioShock: Infinite's three-week run at the top.
The DC Comics fighting game is Warner's first UK No.1 since LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes debuted at No.1 back in week 25, 2012.
Injustice also did one better than Netherrealm's Mortal Kombat, which charted at No.2 back in week 15, 2011. In fact the previous fighting title to make No.1 was THQ's UFC Undisputed 3 back in week 7, 2012, which sold around the same amount of units as Injustice managed.
BioShock: Infinite sales fell 43 per cent, but still shifted enough copies to fend off Fire Emblem: Awakening on 3DS which enters the charts at No.3. The RPG was also available in a limited edition bundle with a blue 3DS XL, which accounted for 31 per cent of all 3DS XL hardware sales.

We expect this week's new entries - particularly Fire Emblem - to be pretty front-loaded, and sales could drop quite quickly in future weeks.
Dead Island: Riptide is likely to take the No.1 spot from Injustice, even if reviews are almost unanimous in their criticism of the zombie sequel. Namco Bandai's Star Trek also has a good chance of a Top 10 place, but may not hit its stride until the movie hits theatres on May 9.
