Producer expresses interest in establishing Dead Space as a new franchise.
Speaking to Eurogamer.de, Dead Space executive producer Glen Schofield has revealed his wish to turn the new sci-fi horror title into an established franchise.
"I would definitely like to make future Dead Space games," said Schofield. "I'd love for this to become a well established franchise; we've created a huge and rich back story and universe, so other games could easily be made."
It's no great shock to hear talk of a new franchise even before the first title is released; EA isn't likely to abandon a potentially lucrative new IP after the release of only one game.
Dead Space is scheduled for release in the autumn for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
