Comics writer Geoff Johns says launch is set for late 2009 or early 2010.
Speaking to MTV Multiplayer comics writer Geoff John, who's been drafted in to work on Sony Onlne Entertainment's PC and PS3 MMO, DC Universe Online, has revealed that fans shouldn't expect to be playing the superhero MMO any time soon.
"It launches I think in early 2010, it could be late 2009," said Johns.
Regarding his progress with his work on the game Johns added: "I've written the overall story and the path that gets you into the game and the areas of the universe and how to explore them, but not every line of dialogue. That's a fulltime job, it's too frigging big, too intense to write every line of an MMO. I'd probably jump off a building."

mmo's have yet to be done well on a console, players on console hate monthly fees.
I guess we will see how good this game really is.Last edited on Tue 2 December 2008 by dreamhunk

Im not impressed so far. It looks stiff. I have seen games over a year away that are beyond impressive, for example Alan Wake. Eventhought its only for xbox 360.
I hate to say it , because I hate the idea of playing online and having to pay for it. Online gaming should be free. Thats why we pay for the system and the game. I hate you 360 for exploiting your people. Not everyone can afford your extra cost. Specially us from Central America.
