The apocalypse is to begin at the start of the new year.
One of THQ's big games at E3 2009 is the action-adventure title Darksiders. The game casts you as War, the first of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, as you attempt to clear your name after being blamed for a war between heaven and hell.
Darksiders had been expected to hit stores for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this year, but THQ has revealed that the game will now launch on January 1, 2010.
