Even Tom Orry managed to kill the first proper boss. You can do it, and given your love of RPGS, I urge you to stick with it. It's my favourite game of the year now; it de-throned Deus Ex.
Which class did you pick? It doesn't matter in the long term, but the first few hours are much harder with certain load-outs.
Anyway, I'll cut the rant there. Drop me a DM if you want an early hint or two.

Despite this, it's a good game, lots of tweaky stuff, ticks all the right boxes, just insanely difficult to get into.
I can't remember the last time I rage quit anything videogame related, so not sure if that's a positive or negative.
