It would appear that David Jaffe's first PSN title, multiplayer cops and robbers game Calling All Cars, will have its online game servers shut down on January 14, 2010.

"On January 14, 2010 the servers for Calling All Cars will be taken off-line. We would like to thank ya for yar support," explains an on screen message when logging on to PSN to play Calling All Cars.

Fans will be left with local multiplayer options only.

Nah, it's not that, it's because Sony don't run the servers they let the companies run their own, Microsoft on the other hand run pretty much everything themselves and so it's all in a central location.

No! What's the point in buying an online game to have the servers switched off? bah!
