PS3 CoD4 DLC confirmed for Europe on May 1

North American gamers get access to the new maps on April 24.

Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling has announced that the wait for the PS3 Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack is almost over; the maps will hit the North American PS Store on April 24 and will be available in Europe on May 1.

To celebrate the launch Infinity Ward will be hosting a Double XP weekend for North American gamers from April 25 through April 27. North American gamers will also be able to go up against some of the Infinity Ward team on April 25 from 5pm to 8pm PDT.

European gamers won't miss out, with an event planned on the weekend beginning 12:01am on May 2 and concluding on Sunday, May 4 at 11:59pm GMT. Members of the Infinity Ward team will be available to play against on May 2 between 7pm and 10pm GMT.

WTF it's the 24th and no maps availible yet? I'm getting really sick of infinityward.. I spent alot of money phoning Playstation then activision and then infinityward trying to find out when these maps would be released and when that stupid patch would get to us and NO ONE can tell me anything.. not even tentative dates.
