Play Blur and win a real BMW

PS3 demo holds the key to a new car.

Activision has announced that starting Wednesday, August 4, PlayStation Network users across Europe who download and play the demo of Bizarre Creations' Blur will be in with a chance of winning a BMW 125i series car. Yes, a real life car.

The Blur event will be taking place from August 4 to August 25. All qualifying players who download and play the demo and rank up to level 5 or higher, will be entered into a sweepstake to win a brand new BMW 125i coupé equipped with sporty BMW Performance accessories.

This is one of the dumbest competitions ever. The target audience for Blur also happens to be the demographic with colossally high car insurance; surely the winner will just sell the car because they can't afford the insurance!? You might as well give the winner £30k!

I might still enter and sell the car, or let my dad have it until I can afford the insurance xD
