PS3 BioShock demo on October 2

Will be released worldwide on the PlayStation Network.

2K Games has announced, via the Cult of Rapture website, that a playable demo of BioShock is to be released worldwide for PS3 on October 2.

According to 2K the demo will be available worldwide, meaning European PS3 gamers won't be left wanting come October 2. There's no info on exactly what the demo will include, but we're assuming it'll be something similar to that released for Xbox 360 - the game's opening.

BioShock is scheduled for release across North America on October 21, followed by Europe a few days later on October 24.
