Bayonetta bumped into 2010

Will now be released in January.

SEGA recently announced that its Devil May Cry style action title, Bayonetta, would be released in Japan on October 29, but gamers elsewhere will have to wait until January 2010.

"Bayonetta is an extremely important new IP for SEGA and adds a new level of depth to our growing portfolio," said Mike Hayes, President and COO for SEGA West. "As a result of market analysis we have taken a Publishing decision that January 2010 is the optimum release time in the Western Markets to maximize this exciting new title's potential."

Bayonetta joins a growing list of titles which had been expected to hit stores this year, but have now found a new home in 2010.
