Season 3 Reloaded is imminent for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and the main Warzone experience. However, in conjunction, Activision is releasing a Reloaded update for Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. They have announced a bunch of new features to anticipate, and some of the upcoming Warzone Mobile Reloaded changes include the addition of a Golden Week event and High Voltage LTM.
Expect lots of big Call of Duty news in the very near future. There’s the possibility that the Black Ops Gulf War reveal will happen in May, and all of the leaks and rumors for CoD 2024 so far point to the best campaign in years along with the best zombies experience for fans disappointed by MW3.
While we cannot wait for Activision to officially pull the curtain aside on the next CoD installment, before then we will be treated to Season 3 Reloaded. Warzone Mobile will also get its own Reloaded update adding a Golden Week event plus lightning to Rebirth Island.
Warzone Mobile Reloaded Golden Week update
Activision’s Season 3 Reloaded blog post highlights some new upcoming additions for Warzone Mobile with its own Reloaded update. The first thing to arrive will be a Golden Week event. This is a limited-time festivity celebrating the Japanese holiday.
Per Activision, fans will able to enjoy a Golden Plunder playlist to earn Event Points. Golden Plunder will see players collect gold by eliminating enemies, looting Supply Crates, and completing Contracts. When time runs out, the squad with the highest total wins and there are unlimited respawns.
Some of the featured free Golden Plunder rewards include the following:
- (Weapon Blueprint) Lockwood 300 – Shogun’s Harmony
- (Weapon Blueprint) Combat Knife – Stealth Blossom
- (Animated Calling Card) Golden Week
In addition to the above, you will be able to earn further Japanese folklore-themed rewards such as the Oni – Daimyo Operator and Vaznez – 9K – Yokai’s Elegance weapon blueprint.
Warzone Mobile High Voltage LTM
Once Golden Week is over, there will be a new limited-time High Voltage mode for Rebirth Island in Warzone Mobile. Activision says ‘Massive lightning storms’ will wreak havoc and that any operators struck by lightning ‘will grow more powerful by earning a random perk’.
Away from the High Voltage LTM on Rebirth Island, Verdansk will see the addition of Viking Runes. You will be able to destroy these runes to possibly get rewards.
Lastly, in addition to all of the above, Reloaded will further optimize the game with continuous updates across iOS and Android devices. Season Reloaded will drop on May 1st with Golden Week, and once Golden Week is over fans will be able to enjoy High Voltage on Rebirth Island and Viking runes in Verdansk.
