Two free Weapon Shortcut Kits for Battlefield 4 are available to download now across all formats, with a further two rolling out next Tuesday, February 25.

Available for free for a limited time only, the Hand Guns Shortcut Kit offers all players instant access to every in-game pistol. Premium members can also download the DMR Shortcut Kit free of charge.

Then, from Tuesday, all players will be offered the Grenades Shortcut Kit, with Premium players also offered a bonus Shotguns Shortcut Kit.

The promotion forms a part of Battlefield 4's Player Appreciation Month which rewards players with a free Battlepack for each day they play the game throughout February.

To download the kits on console just head to the in-game store, or, if you're playing on PC, follow the instructions on the Battlefield website.

Battlefield 4: Second Assault launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC earlier this week following an exclusivity period on Xbox One. The third expansion pack, Naval Strike, is due to launch on all formats next month.

Yea, i don't see the problem with this but the grenade shortcut pack is a joke, i think every player already has every grenade already.

To be fair after guns you have upgrades, after the upgrades you have classes and after classes you have vehicles and after vehicles you have aircraft and then ribbons, dog tags, medals, achievements/trophies rankings, dlc, and so on. I really don't think this matters. If anything it may get more people playing.
