Battle Fantasia coming to Xbox 360 and PS3

Arc System Works' 2.5D beat 'em up to be released across Europe in Q1 2009.

505 Games has announced it is bringing Battle Fantasia, a new all-action fighting game to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Q1 2009.

Developed by Arc System Works (Guilty Gear series), Battle Fantasia features a unique cast of fantasy-inspired characters and a storyline and script that stays true to its Japanese heritage and manga roots.

The game also features an RPG-like hit-point system. Smaller characters have less health but are faster and harder to hit, whereas larges characters can deal more damage but move much slower.

A variety of game modes will be offered, including story, practice, survival, time attack, versus and online multiplayer.

Battle Fantasia is scheduled for release across Europe in Q1 2009 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
