Warner Bros. has announced that Rocksteady’s upcoming Batman: Arkham City, will be playable in both stereoscopic and anaglyphic 3D on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
“Gamers on Xbox 360 and PS3 can delve deep into Arkham City’s breathtaking environments and immersive gameplay in stereoscopic 3D when playing on any 3D HDTV,” Warner Bros. confirmed this morning.
The publisher added that gamers who haven’t yet upgraded to 3DTVs will also be able to play the game in 3D. “Fans with HDTVs can enjoy Batman: Arkham City in anaglyphic 3D with technology compatible with all high definition TV sets.” A similar feature was added to the Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edtiion.
Batman: Arkham City is scheduled for release on October 21 in the UK.
