Following official confirmation that SEGA's Obsidian developed RPG Alpha Protocol had been pushed back to a spring 2010 release, the developer's PR and Marketing Producer Matthew Rorie has revealed the extra development time will help ensure a more polished experience.

"Just keep in mind that, in the end, this is going to help Alpha Protocol achieve the greatest success possible for it," said Rorie. "The game is going to get a good coat of polish to it, and it’s also hopefully going to become more visible to the gaming community at large. So that’s a win-win for everyone. It sucks that it won’t be coming out for a while, but it’ll be awesome when it does."

This post has since been edited to remove any mention of extra polish. There's been no explanation why this change was made.

Well at least they are not rushing it, but a lot of games are being delayed lately.

Im looking forward to it. I rather have a polished game than one which isn't.
