Team17 has announced the return of Alien Breed, with confirmation that Alien Breed Evolution is currently in development for next-gen platforms.
Utilising Epic's Unreal Engine 3, Alien Breed Evolution is described as a "retro-modern" remake of the game that helped Team 17 burst onto the Amiga scene 18 years ago. The game will feature a single-player adventure and co-op play.
The game will be a download-only title with further information regarding platforms to be announced in the summer.
