Script duty in the hands of the guy who penned The Legend of Chun-Li.

According to Risky Biz Blog, Sony Computer Entertainment's Shadow of the Colossus is being made into a movie.

The PS2 video game is being developed as a feature at Sony by producer Kevin Misher. Justin Marks (Street Fighter: The Legends of Chun-Li) is attached to pen the script.

Shadow of the Colossus is regarded as one of the greatest games released on the PS2, offering players with a truly unique experience. The game focusses on playable character Wander and his horse Agro who travel across vast landscapes searching for and defeating huge enemies known as Colossi. All this to restore the life of a girl named Mono.

There's currently no word on a planned release date for the movie.

I wonder if sony actually watched 'the legend of chun-li', I'm assuming not, or they wouldnt have chosen Justin Marks to write it. It's a film that could be stunning in the right hands, but unfortunately its not.
