Shadow of the Colossus and ICO reissue dated for Europe

Sony has announced that Shadow of the Colossus will be released in the UK on February 17 along with the reissue of ICO.

Shadow of the Colossus has received much critical acclaim in Japan and North America and the game will finally be released here in the UK on February 17. The game is developed by the team behind ICO, one of the PlayStation 2's most highly praised titles.

Set is a mystical world, Shadow of the Colossus puts you in control of a boy whose true love has died and the only way to bring her back is to slay sixteen beasts in battles of epic proportions. February 17 is also the date that PlayStation 2 owners can get their hands on the ICO re-release.

Despite critical acclaim and admiration from those who bought the game, it was only given a limited release and became one of the most sought after titles for this generation, commanding a hefty price tag on eBay. Hopefully it will perform well at retail this time around.
