Top Spin heads to PS2

Take-Two Interactive and 2K Sports announce Top Spin for the PlayStation 2.

Take-Two Interactive and 2K Sports have announced that Top Spin is heading to the PlayStation 2. The one time Xbox exclusive tennis title is under development at PAM and is being produced by Indie Built. Top Spin includes 16 professional players, a career mode and online play, just as the Xbox original did.

"The release of Top Spin on the PlayStation 2 gives a broader audience access to a great game, with some fantastic additions," said Steve ZoBell, president of Indie Built, Inc. "We're very excited to bring this critically acclaimed and extremely popular tennis game to PlayStation 2 owners."

Whether or not the game will see any enhancements over the Xbox original remains to be seen. Top Spin takes to the court on PlayStation 2 this summer.
