Becomes the fastest-selling Star Wars game in history.
Gamasutra reports that LucasArts' Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has now sold 5.7 million units worldwide since its September 2008 release. The Force Unleashed is now the fastest-selling game in the franchise's history.
On release the game shifted 1.5 million copies in its first five days and the demo received over a million downloads on Xbox 360. It also became the most downloaded demo on PSN.
The game is available for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS, iPhone, iPod Touch, N-Gage and other mobile platforms.

It was released on 360, PS2, PS3, DS, Wii and PSP and multiple mobile platforms which gave it a larger target audience.
MGS4 has shipped 4.5 million copies on just one platform. If they'd gone multi-platform I'd guesstimate 25 million would have been sold and Kojima-san could have taken over the world.
