News
Famitsu magazine has revealed that Namco's Soul Calibur III will arrive on Japanese retail shelves on November 24th.
The release date comes as a bit of a shock seeing as the game is expected to arrive in North America on October 25th, a whole month prior to the Japanese release. Soul Calibur III will feature a roster of over 25 characters as well as an all new create your own character option - bring on the eight foot giant with purple hair, a moustache, baseball cap and moon boots.
New gameplay modes revealed in Famitsu include 'soul squash' where you must hurt your opponents by slamming them into a wall, 'wisp shoot' where damage can only be inflicted from soul charge attacks and also a mode where you must destroy a stone statue.
