Resident Evil 4 confirmed for Wii

Wii version to include Wii Remote aiming and stabbing, plus extras previously seen in the PS2 port.
Recent rumours that Capcom is developing a Wii port of Resident Evil 4 have been confirmed to be true, with Japanese video game magazine Famitsu revealing the first details.
The game will feature reworked controls to take advantage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, with aiming and knife thrusts now mapped to motions of the Wii Remote.
The Wii edition will also contain the extras found on the PlayStation 2 edition, including the new Ada Wong 'Separate Ways' campaign.
There are no details on how the game will shape up visually, but given that Resident Evil 4 was one of the most stunning games on the GameCube there's little to worry about in this department.

Vallentin@ Wii Is No.1
My point is, the only new feature being added to the game that you can't find elsewhere, is the re-vamped control scheme. In my opinion, and yes this is all subjective, that's hardly enough reason to warrant the purchase of a brand new, likely full-priced, game, that was only released a few years ago (unlike the VHS Star Wars which was released ages ago and was completely inferior to its DVD brother both in visual clarity and content).
Wii Is No.1
Would you have wanted the Star Wars Trilogy to stay on VHS? I mean isn't it essentially the same thing on DVD, exept remastered and everything? I'm gonna guess you've never played a Wii before right? RE4 Wii may be the same game, but it's gonna be alot better now. This version is going to have all the good things from both sides of the RE4 versions for GC and PS2. The better graphics and live-action cutscenes of the GC version, but with all the extra features that were added to PS2 port. In addition, you'll now be able to do things like ACTUALLY CONTROL the knife and aiming, that you could only do on a Wii.
