US and European releases of Capcom's Resident Evil 4 are to arrive sooner than expected.
The PS2 port of Capcom's Resident Evil 4, has been confirmed for release on October 25th in the US and November 4th in Europe. Many had predicted a 2006 release after the game's no show at this year's E3, so it will come as a nice surprise to PS2 owners eager to experience what GameCube owners have been lauding over for months.
Reports suggest that the PS2 version is looking surprising good, with only a few compromises needing to be made when porting the game. Less detailed texturing has been implemented, together with slightly less facial detail, but elsewhere the game remains pretty much identical to its GameCube brother.
