Naruto: Ultimate Ninja set for November Euro release
Atari has announced the November European release of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja for PlayStation 2.
From Bandai Namco Games, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja is a fighting game based on the popular anime series Naruto. Atari will handle distribution of the title across Europe with Namco Bandai handling publishing.
The game features 14 characters taken directly from the anime, including Naruto Uzumaki, the young ninja in training, and his ninja-school classmates Sakura and Sasuke. A Story mode promises a twisting plot as you fight your way through battles, and a Mission mode tasks the player with a set of objective-based fights. The game also features the usual Free Battle and Practice modes, allowing you to go one-on-one with a friend or get in some much needed training.
Although a 2D fighter, each stage features a foreground and background, allowing players to switch mid-fight to gain a tactical advantage. Stages are also full of interactive obstacles and feature a wide range of destructible objects.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 2 across Europe in November.

The art style's fantastic, with a really involving play style that staves off any concerns of a mindless button masher.
It's brilliant that the European release date for Naruto is known now. I'm really looking forward to playing this!
