No wireless guitars for Xbox 360

RedOctane has said that a wireless Guitar Hero controller will not be released for the Xbox 360 - at least not at the moment.

RedOctane's Bryan Lam told eToychest that until Microsoft gives them permission to use proprietary wireless tech, they won't be able to create a wireless guitar controller.

You see, Microsoft's proprietary wireless controller tech is not available to third parties just yet, meaning any wireless controller, guitar included, would have to be created by Microsoft.

A wireless PS2 guitar controller is on the way to the US, but it's currently unknown if it will also be coming to Europe. Guitar Hero II is released for PS2 on November 7 across North America, and on November 24 in Europe.
