God of War creator, David Jaffe, has revealed that the God of War movie script is complete.
Speaking recently with Entertainment Weekly, Jaffe confirmed that the David Self penned script has been completed. Self has a number of critically acclaimed projects to his name including Road to Perdition and Thirteen Days.
Despite having a completed script, Jaffe is still aware that the project could be canned at any moment, noting: "I keep expecting them to call me and say it's dead, but my fingers are crossed."
Jaffe says that the next step is to get the script sent out to a "huge-name director" although doesn't mention who. He was more willing to name an actor he feels would make a great Kratos.
"[Blood Diamond's] Djimon Hounsou as Kratos. Absolutely. You have to get past the fact that Kratos is Greek, but in terms of the way he looks and his acting ability and his physique — I can't think of a better choice," he said.
God of War 2 on PlayStation 2 is scheduled for release in Europe in April.

Movie? Pathetic. Why does every game turn into a movie and hollywood wrecks it.

Bobby Lashley playing Kratos
Bobby Lasley looks just like Kratos, watch WWE Smackdown. The guy from Blood Diamond isn't buff enough.

I think Lashlet might be a little too big to play Kratos.

god of war charactor
everone that has been brought up to play as Kratos really does not fit. people fail to realized that kratos is not all extra buff.I think (Hounsou) is the perfect fit he has the voice and the perfect body. these people must not have played the game because if they did then they would'nt come up with these far fecth people like bobby lasley hes really buff and when your that big your not that flexible and kratos is pretty flexible charactor.(People play the game!) before commenting on who should play this roll. because what ive seen! u guys need to stop the comments u guys have tarable taste in picing charators.
