Resident Evil creator plays a godlike hand

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Shinji Mikami is hard at work on the PS2 title God Hand.

Unfortunately details on the project are scarce. Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil and Onimusha series, has enlisted the help of Atsushi Inaba, the creator of the Viewtiful Joe series. One other point of interest is that the game is in development at Capcom's Clover Studio, which has recently finished development of the highly anticipated action adventure title Okami.

Speaking of Okami, GameFront is reporting that the game received a very high 39/40 score from Famitsu. The game's release may be imminent in Japan, but a western release is still some time off, currently expected in September in the US and sometime in the autumn in Europe.
