After last week's departure of John Romero from Miday, J.E. Sawyer has now left the team working on Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows.
Posting on the Mistress' Lair forums Sawyer announced his move saying: "Friday is actually my last day at Midway. I am going to work for Obsidian, starting Monday." At Oblivion Sawyer will be working on the highly anticipated Neverwinter Nights 2.
Despite the departure of two members of the Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows team, Midway remain confident that there will be no delay.
"Development on Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows has not been impacted in any way," said Midway when speaking to Gamespot. Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows is due this winter on PS2, Xbox and PC, assuming Midway are right about there being no delay.
