Ubisoft will bring Drakengard 2 to Europe and North America

Square Enix's Drakengard 2 heads to Europe and North America, with an exclusive publishing deal for Ubisoft.

Under the agreement Ubisoft will have exclusive publishing rights of the game for the PlayStation 2 in Europe and North America. Darkengard 2 is an RPG featuring knights and, as you may have worked out from the title, dragons. The game was an immediate success upon its release in Japan last June, topping the videogames charts thanks to first week sales of over 100,000 copies.

"We are very excited to be working with Square Enix to publish this highly anticipated RPG in North America and Europe," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft.

Drakengard 2 is scheduled for release for the PlayStation 2 in March, and will be available in Europe, North America and Australia.
