Dirge of Cerberus - FFVII hits Europe November 17

Square Enix has announced that Dirge of Cerberus - Final Fantasy VII will be available across Europe from November 17.

The Final Fantasy VII spin-off is finally making its way to Europe on November 17, complete with PAL optimization and a bunch of new modes and gameplay tweaks.

Dirge of Cerberus is set three years after events of FFVII and stars Vincent Valentine, who must battle against the military organisation known as Deepground.

The online multiplayer modes present in the Japanese version of the game have been removed, replaced with a new extra hard mode and more than 40 new special missions. The game has also been tweaked to appeal more to Western tastes, which Square says will make the game a more enjoyable experience.
