Koch Media has struck a deal with Square Enix to distribute its upcoming PS2 action title Dirge of Cerberus.
Despite a below par reception from the media, Dirge of Cerberus flew of the shelves in Japan. Since then Square Enix has been hard on work on the Western version, which together with usual localisation changes will feature new features not found in the Japanese release.
Today Koch Media has announced that it will distribute the title across the UK and Ireland.
"We are delighted that Square Enix has chosen Koch Media as partner to distribute this new title in one of their most renowned franchises," said Craig McNicol, MD of Koch Media. "With over 68 million copies sold, the Final Fantasy brand is one of the most esteemed names in gaming."
Dirge of Cerberus is scheduled to ship in PAL territories this November.
