World of Warcraft loses another 100K subscribers

Down from 10.3 million subscribers.

World of Warcraft's userbase has continued to slip, and is now home to 10.2 million subscribers according to the latest Activision-Blizzard investor call, Joystiq has reported.

Last November it was reported the game had 10.3 million in comparison.

However the firm believes it has been able to retain as many annual-subscription users as it has through the success of the 4.3 patch as well as the success of the annual pass, and the million players who purchased a year subscription to WoW in return for a free copy of Diablo III.
