Blizzard opens WoW Pet Store

Two companions available now.

Blizzard has announced the launch of the Pet Store for World of Warcraft, a new way for players to obtain in-game pets.

Two brand-new companions are now available for purchase exclusively at the Pet Store: Lil’ K.T. and the Pandaren Monk.

Make a Difference: Pandaren Monk Charity Pet
A martial-arts expert who’s here to help celebrate the upcoming fifth anniversary of World of Warcraft. He may be cute, but he’s proof that even the softest of critters can overcome the hardest of circumstances. For every Pandaren Monk that finds its way to a player’s side between now and the end of the year, Blizzard will donate 50 per cent of the $10 purchasing price to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Lil’ K.T., the Littlest Lich
A miniature lich who bears a striking resemblance to the legendary lord of Naxxramas, Kel’Thuzad. But don’t let his diminutive stature fool you: Lil’ K.T. has a diabolical laugh and wields true power at his bony fingertips, randomly wreaking icy havoc on critters who dare to cross his path. You can now buy this new pet for $10.

Yeh tbh, im with you Blood, this pet thing, Say if I buy one, and you don't. Does it really affect you? not really, its not like blizzard have said by a monk or we will cancel your account.

The faction change I dont really like, because an entire guild on my server Jumped to horde, this being one of our best guilds. It does not help the economics of the server either. Mainly as horde and alliance AH economies are normally very different

Bloodstorm

Alot of people are cracking up saying this is the beginning of the end for WoW now that micro-transactions are taking place. What they didn't and SHOULD be angry at is the faction changes, that my friends, is how games become unbalanced and unfair for PVP, i know alot of people on my server who changed to the alliance and because of it we have no decent PVPers.

Also, if you buy the monk pet half of the money goes to the "Make a wish foundation" so it's not all that bad.
