Over 500 achievements to be available at the launch of the highly anticipated expansion.
Blizzard has confirmed that upcoming, but not yet dated, WoW expansion Wrath of the Lich King is to introduce a new achievement system to the game.
At the launch of Lich King there will be over 500 achievements to work through, relating to various aspects of WoW gameplay such as world exploration, PvP, PvE, character development and professions. Some of these achievements will carry an in-game reward, including tabards, pets and titles.
In addition to seeing the number of completed achievements, each achievement will also carry a points value that will contribute to a total achievement score.
