At the recent Blizzcon event Wired caught up with Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime and quizzed him about the developer's next MMO.

"It's not going to be a World of Warcraft sequel," said Morhaime. "It's gonna be different."

He added: "... let's just say it's going to be different and it's not going to be a sequel to World of Warcraft. It will be different.

"We're not trying to replace World of Warcraft with this new MMO. We're trying to create a different massively multiplayer experience, and hopefully World of Warcraft will still be going strong when that one is released."

Will you have the time to keep playing World of Warcraft and Blizzard's new MMO? Let us know in the comments section below.

Well i tried playing Warhammer online and WoW and unfortunatley there's only one winner. Has to be WoW. What i would like to know is, will the new MMO be along the same system requirements as WOTLK. If the system requirements are increased then surely Blizzard will not get the amount of players that currently play WoW. Quite alot of people on the server i'm on play on the most basic of laptops, will the new MMO accomodate for them?
