Blizzard is now enabling World of Warcraft players to purchase The Burning Crusade as a digital download.
World of Warcraft players scared of leaving the house, or indeed ordering the retail boxed version online, can now purchase an upgrade key and download the expansion through the account management section of worldofwarcraft.com.
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade set tills on fire earlier this month, with sales exceeding 2.4 million units in only 24 hours. No surprise when you consider that World of Warcraft currently has more than eight million subscribers.
