World of Goo confirmed for WiiWare Europe

Indie video game studio 2D Boy has announced via its official website that the popular WiiWare and PC game, World of Goo, is to be released across Europe.

"Today, we're happy to announce that World of Goo will be coming to WiiWare in Europe after all! we've started the submission process and hope to release it sometime in December," explained a 2D Boy blog post.

Although not finalised the game is likely to cost 1500 Wii Points. A PC version will also be available in December, at both retail stores and digital download services.

The Retail version was supposed to have an extra chapter not found on the WiiWare version.

So PAL Wii owners will have the same version as the NTSC Wii Owners...

I may well pick this up actually. It has been getting very good reception. 95 on Metacritic, with a 9.5 from IGN and an A from 1up. The lowest it has gotten Is a 9 from what I can see.

This was previously announced to be released on Wii, as a retail product. Will the Wiiware version accompany, or replace the retail release, on the platform?
