No word on EU open beta however.
The open beta for hotly anticipated fantasy MMO Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will begin on September 7 for North American gamers, publisher EA has confirmed.
There's still no word when European gamers will get access to the open beta date, however.
The North American open beta will allow players to enter the WAR Online virtual world 11 days before its official release, on September 18.
"For three years we have been saying that 'WAR is coming' and the team has been working hard to deliver on this promise," said Mark Jacobs, co-founder and general manager of Mythic Entertainment. "In just a few weeks, we are going to throw open our doors and invite more players into the game than ever before. They will have a chance to delve into the open beta and see for themselves that WAR has arrived and it is glorious!"
Players can get into the North American open beta by pre-ordering Warhammer Online from select retail partners. Participants of the North American closed beta will automatically be granted open beta access.
We've contacted European publisher GOA for comment regarding an EU open beta date and we'll let you know as soon as we hear back.

Why americans always have the first hand in every mmo ? And why cant GOA even provide a decent answer ? Why not make 2 different games then? One for the americans one for the little europeans ? ...
I wish european players weren't treated like that all the time, and btw ...GOA! L2work in weekends and keep the servers up ...

I am really not happy that I payed £10 for the Open Beta pack from my local HMV store, I was hoping for at least two weeks to a month of open beta to get a good feel of the game with the different races and classes. Now it has been announced that the American get only 11 days and the EU will most likely get less.
I feel like I have been riped off.
