The first MMORPG to launch servers simultaneously in North America, Europe, and Oceania.
EA has today announced that Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is to launch worldwide on September 18, 2008. After three years in development the game will open its North American, European and Oceanic servers.
"The countdown has officially begun. Mark your calendars! September 18th is the Day of Reckoning," said Mark Jacobs, founder and general manager of Mythic Entertainment. "For the last three years, the entire team at Mythic has poured their hearts into making Warhammer Online the next great MMORPG. We are so excited to open up this world and share it with the fans that will live in it, quest in it, go to war in it and make it come alive."
Several subscription options will be available: a $14.99 monthly sub, $41.97 for a three-month sub and $77.94 for a six-month sub.

I think WOW wil loose some custumors. They made their own game stiupid by making promisses they never kept, 10 BG the first years adn hero classes for example.

Yeah i mean at least EA and GOA have admitted that they have had to take stuff out becuase they couldnt keep their promise but instead have turned around and said that we will try our best to fufill that promise at a later date. WoW i think made it big solely becuase they were the first major game of that genre... WAr wont get as many members but it will most likely drive its way straight up to the second spot and hold it for a very long time. Dont get me wrong i hate WoW but you must admit that with 10 milion + members WAR would have to make a miracle. I bet though on the otherhand if you asked somebody from Blizzard if they thought that the game would be where it is today i bet you none of them said they would. WAR are saying the same thing basically, they are saying that it will be a great game but it most likely wont beat WoW.

Finally something other then WoW. Wow is a horrible game. Cant wait for this to come out.
