GOA can't offer firmer date right now.
The open beta for upcoming MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will begin in "the summer", the game's European spokesperson has revealed to VideoGamer.com.
Warhammer Online, which was recently delayed to "Fall 2008", or August, September and October, has enjoyed at last count 500,000 beta applications from gamers in Europe and North America.
However, getting on the beta will be no easy feat. European publisher GOA has announced that pre-ordering the Collectors Edition, details of which were released this week, will grant you open beta access. Only 55,000 units will be made available across Europe though.
Look out for our hands-on preview next week.

Yeh, the closed betas are running in the US; but itīs hard to get in (you need to be a devoloper/have experience in game testing etc. atleast thatīs the impression I have.)
If you buy the collectorīs edition youīll get a freepass into the open beta though, wich will probably start in the summer (mine is on itīs way in the mail right now.)
