Unreal Tournament demo is 10 years old

Epic celebrates by making Unreal Tournament 3 Black free to play this weekend on Steam.

Ten years ago today Epic released the original Unreal Tournament demo, a game which spawned a massive online community and many sequels.

To mark the 10th anniversary, Epic is inviting everyone to check out Unreal Tournament 3 Black, completely free of charge. Log into Valve’s Steam digital distribution service, download Unreal Tournament 3 Black and play the game through the weekend free of charge.

The free play period begins today at 8pm GMT, and you can pre-load the game now.

Additionally, the original Unreal Tournament will be on sale for $1.99, and both Unreal Tournament 3 Black and the Unreal Deal Pack will be available for 60% off through September 27. Unreal Tournament 3 Black features Unreal Tournament 3 together with the free Titan Pack.
