Trine 2 hits UK retail December 9

Boxed edition also includes a Steam code for the first game.

Trine 2 for PC and Mac will be released at retail in a Collector's Edition on December 9, Lace Manba Global has announced.

Inside the retail box will be a DVD version of Trine 2, plus a Steam code for Trine, an artbook and soundtrack CD.

Trine 2 is the sequel to the first Trine, the side scrolling adventure that entertained nearly a million players. Trine 2 takes gamers on another adventure with the powerful knight Pontius, the swift thief Zoya and the crafty wizard Amadeus. The three heroes embark on a new adventure where players will have to survive lethal traps and terrifying monsters, solve physics-based puzzles and unravel a mystery during a campaign that can be played either solo or in three-player co-op online or offline.
