The latest issue of PC Zone magazine has revealed that The Creative Assembly is working on a new Expansion for Rome: Total War.
The new expansion is called Alexander and will be released via a digital distribution service upon completion. The Alexander expansion will begin at the time of the death of Philip II of Macedon in 336BC and run all the way up to the death of Alexander in 323BC. Six historical battles, four new factions and new multiplayer action will be included.
The new factions will be the Macedonian army, the Persians, the Indians and the Barbarians, and expect around 50 new units in total. Oh, and PC Zone also reveals that Brian Blessed will be the game's narrator. Expect more news on the expansion in the coming weeks.
