Magazine reveals that next Splinter Cell will see Sam Fisher become a fugitive.
Kotaku, via translations from Magazine Pelaaja, reports that Ubisoft's next Splinter Cell game will be called Conviction and will see the game's protagonist become a fugitive.
Pelaaja reports that the game begins with Sam discovering that Anna Grimsdottir (the person in charge of gathering evidence for Third Echelon) is in danger so the master of stealth once again joins up with Third Echelon to help out.
Things soon take a turn for the worse when Sam discovers that the threat is coming from inside Third Echelon, and is forced to leave and become a fugitive.
Back at X06 Microsoft announced that the next Splinter Cell title would be coming exclusively to Xbox 360 and Games For Windows.
Expect a lot more information on Sam's latest adventure towards the end of May.
