The launch of Titanfall has led to a 96 per cent increase in Xbox One hardware sales in the UK, Chart-Track has revealed.
The figure was announced alongside this week's All-Formats Charts, which saw Titanfall snatching the no.1 spot from highly-anticipated competitor Dark Souls 2.
While exact sales numbers have not been confirmed, the official Titanfall bundle accounted for 70 per cent of all Xbox One hardware sold last week, which includes a free digital copy of Respawn's shooter.
The jump also follows last month's permanent price drop that saw the console slashed from £429.99 to £399.99.
Microsoft told the New York Times last week that "it's hard to understate how incredibly important Titanfall is for Xbox", with the platform holder hosting launch events across the globe to celebrate the game's arrival.
The game launches on Xbox 360 on March 28.
