The Witcher series, which includes The Witcher and its sequel The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, has sold over four million copies worldwide, CD Projekt Red has announced.

This includes titles released on PC, Mac and Xbox 360.

"I'm still amazed with the result we have achieved with The Witcher franchise," said studio head Adam Badowski. "Many gamers on many platforms have been drawn to the vivid and complex world we have created."

Back in May, CD Projekt Red said that The Witcher 2 had sold in excess of 1.7 million copies.

I echo that comment! Well done Projekt Red! Now just release Witcher 1 on Xbox 360, so I have another excuse to play the first game again.
