EA's Humble Bundle has become the fastest bundle to reach $100,000 in sales, doing so in just 25 minutes, the Humble Bundle has announced.

After 2.5 hours the bundle made $1 million, whilst the $3 million figure was achieved in 14 hours.

The bundle includes a host of EA games which you can be yours for whatever you wish to pay.

Pay what you want to secure Mirror's Edge, Medal of Honor, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition and the original Dead Space, or pay over the average price – currently $4.74 - to receive Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3: Starter Pack on top.

At the time of writing 680,815 purchases have been made, generating sales of $3,228,313.

EA have always been pretty charitable in the literal sense. I may deplore some of the business practices they've tried in the past but I'm always happy to applaud them for their continuing social responsibility.

Though the cynic within me still whispers 'micro transactions' now and again.

A case of EA doing something right for a change?

All the money goes to charities and Humble, not to EA. EA are giving Steam codes as well as Origin codes and there are some great games. What's not to like?
