The console ports of The Movies might be dead and buried, but the PC game will live on through a new expansion pack.

There were reports of an expansion a few weeks ago, but Lionhead has now made it official. Activision will publish the Lionhead developed 'Stunts & Effects' expansion this spring. As the title suggests, the expansion will add stuntmen, a movie-making toolset and visual effects, plus new sets, costumes and props.

Details on price and an exact release date weren't given, but expect to hear more about the stunt-filled add-on soon. For more details on the original game, check out our review of The Movies.
