Lionhead Studios and Activision have created the 'Chrysler in the Movies: Virtual Film Competition,' to which entries must be made using 'The Movies' game.
According to a report in the Reporter, the Chrysler in the Movies: Virtual Film Competition, which will launch at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival later this week, invites users of The Movies to enter a short film produced using the game. The winner of the competition will be announced at E3 and will take home a Chrysler Crossfire luxury sedan, worth around $42,000.
To date more than 30,000 films made using The Movies have been submitted to the game's online movie theatre which allows people to access and view homemade shorts from all over the world.
