The latest issue of PC Zone magazine reveals that the upcoming Oblivion expansion, titled Shivering Isles, will contain 30+ hours of new adventuring. This includes new quests, monsters, expanded freeform gameplay (meaning quests will now branch off more than before) and a new land which will change according to the player's vital in-game decisions.

The magazine also explains that a gate has opened in Nibben Bay, a portal leading to a torn realm known as the Shivering Isles - a place ruled by Sheogorath, god of madness and dementia. The new quests will see players coming face to face with this god and will have to take part in his trials.

The expansion is currently scheduled for release in Q2 2007, and you can find a host of exclusive screens inside the magazine, which should be available today from your newsagent of choice. It's assumed that the expansion will also be released for the Xbox 360, but no details have been released.
